Every Durai home begins the same way it began for our founder: on site, early in the morning, with his hands in the work. Duraipandian was just 16 years old when he first walked onto a building site in Cuddalore. There was no shortcut. He carried bricks, mixed mortar and watched the senior masons closely - how a wall is kept true, why curing matters, what a weak foundation looks like years later. His son Tamilselvan grew up on those sites and went on to become a civil engineer. In 2016 father and son brought experience and engineering together as Durai Constructions - proper plans and structural design, modern elevations, itemised quotes that list every material with its brand, and daily photo updates on WhatsApp so families can watch their home rise even from abroad. Today Er. D. Tamilselvan is the Managing Director and leads the engineering, with 10 years of practice.
